Competition Format
Phase I - Preliminary Round
- Competition Online Registration

An application number is assigned to each registered team for identification purposes. This number is used for the online submission of competition entries. |
- Workshop

Workshop 1 - "What do you need to be the next" |
- Executive Summary Submission
|
- |
Each team submits a business plan executive summary (not more than 1000 words, via the online submission system). |

- |
36 teams will be selected to enter the semi-final round. |
Phase II - Semi-final Round

Workshop 2 - "Inside the mind of a successful entrepreneur" |

Workshop 3 - "Business Plans that sell" |
- Business Plan Submission

- |
Each semi-finalist team submits a business plan (not more than 5 A4 pages, including appendices, charts and graphs etc., via the online system). |

Each semi finalist team submits a one-minute video to be voted online by the public in the "Best Visual Presentation" competition. |

- |
8 finalist teams will be selected to progress to the final round. |
Phase III - Final Round

Each finalist team is paired with a seasoned entrepreneur or industry practitioner mentor, who will council, support and advise |

Workshop 4 - "Passion and the Entrepreneur" |
- Final Submission & Presentation

Each finalist team submits a full business plan (not more than 30 A4 pages, including appendices, charts and graphs etc., via the online system). |

Finalist teams will present their proposed venture to a panel of judges. Each team is given 15 minutes to present and 15 minutes for a Q & A session with the judges. |
- Networking Events

A platform for professionals of relevant industry to get together and share experiences/ insights of their industries with the participants, as well as an opportunity for the participants to meet up and learn from the professionals. |
- Award Presentation Ceremony

8 finalist team projects showcase. |

- |
The top 3 teams will be announced. Winners are invited on stage to present their project as well as accept their awards. |

The winners of "Best Visual Presentation" will also be announced with the winning videos introduced during the prize ceremony. |
