Eligibility And Entry Criteria
- The HSBC Young Entrepreneurs Development Council Young Entrepreneur Challenge 2012 is open to all students studying full time in tertiary education institutes in Hong Kong; including, but not limited to, undergraduates, postgraduates, research students and international exchange students in Hong Kong.
- Participating teams must consist of 2 to 4 members. Each team may draw members from different faculties or institutes.
- Team members are not allowed to join more than 1 team. Each team is allowed to submit more than 1 executive summary or business plan, but only 1 business plan will be selected for the final round.
- Each time a competition entry is revised, you need to delete any previously uploaded copy of the entry.
- There is only one submission window for all rounds. Teams intending to submit more than one executive summary or business plan should submit all entries at the same time before the deadline.
- Each team will identify a team leader to manage the team's information, register business ideas and handle the competition submissions. The team leader will also be the point-of-contact with the Youth Development Council or the organiser.
- Participants with ventures having received prior investment of more than HK$1,000,000, or ventures which have been in establishment and or operation for more than 3 years are NOT allowed to join the competition.
